Tablescape for Less!

I'm a huge window shopper and always scouting a bargain. I saw this tablescape at PB the other day and loved it. The napkins rings are just the cutest darn things ever, but at $49.99 for four, I decided to pass and wait for a sale.

I decided to try duplicating their setting so I snapped a couple of pictures and went shopping. I already had a few of the basic items and surprisingly had purchased some lanterns a few weeks ago. After a few stops and a couple of purchases, I was able to put together my very own seaside tablescape for far less than I would have spent at PB.

I love the little starfish plates that I found at Homegoods for $2.50 each. The rattan chargers are from Marshalls and were $2.99 a piece. I didn't have any napkin rings that went with the theme so I wrapped the napkins with jute and hot glued on little shells. This will do until the PB glass napkin rings go on clearance or I find something else.

Thank you Susan at http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/ for hosting Tablescape Thursday.

  9. Nola, You asked the origin of my name. My mother's name was Neola, so I guess that says it all. How about you? Where did your name come from. There are not many Nola's in the world. I think we should start a Nola Club!

  10. So many cute things!

Sadly, you're right....Magnolia's closed. That whole back street/courtyard at the village is empty. All of the businesses closed. I've heard we've got 4 new businesses coming in, but I'm not sure where.

Hope you'll come this summer. If you do, let me know.

    Hugs!

I am a PB /WS junkie. I am at the outlet almost every week.
Do you have a link that shows the napkin rings you are looking for? I can keep my eye open at the outlet for you. They get a lot of the things the regular store has, but just a little later..
I used Pottery Barn things for TTH in this post..
